I love it when I'm listening to Pandora.com and they play a local band like The Ashtray Hearts. A long time ago I'd bump into a few of these guys at the Chatterbox and we'd share a beer and a smoke. I was talking with a coworker today about old food joints we'd go to as a kid and I was reminded of this pizza place. We'd go there as a fam, the rents would drop the kids of in the lounge and they'd head to the bar to hang with their friends. We'd be there, sometimes in our jammies, eating pizza, drinking rootbeer and watching old cartoons. That made my heart pang because I realized ... I miss Heckle and Jeckle. Those two crazy crows are the best!

This post isn't in response to the sad events in NY. It's a response to my own feelings. I've been feeling a lot like a plane in a holding pattern. My brain is full of thoughts and ideas yet there is no action to back 'em up. I'm trying to decide, is this holding pattern because I am afraid to land or maybe because I'm afraid to keep flying? hhhmmmmmm
